The One Decision That Changed My Life - Maxwell Chinoruma Testimony!

Harare – Back in 2002, a young man had a life choice to make: move or stay. He chose the former – and he has never regretted his decision.

“In 2002, I came to a point where I felt I had served enough in the church I was going and now needed to move on and also needed to find a new church.”

Maxwell Chinoruma then had two options though. “I had two options: joining another church or submit to a spiritual father but remain in that church. In 2003 we then made a decision with my family to join Glory Ministries.”

This was two years after its formation by Apostle Pride Sibiya in Chitungwiza, with a handful of believers. Their choice was a wise one within the body of Christ.

Sixteen years later, he is now the National Overseer for Glory Ministries – a feat that came through hard work.

Coming from a trying past, Overseer Chinoruma was driven by bitterness, and he yearned for healing – a new start. And in Apostle Sibiya, he got a life mentor and spiritual father.

“The three great things I have learnt from Apostle Sibiya are love, fatherhood and sacrificial giving. I was a bitter man in my own life and love has changed me.”

As he reflects on his earlier life, he notices a great shift. “I have learnt to be a good father. I have made many mistakes as a father and Apostle Sibiya he would sit me down and correct me.”

Today, Overseer Chinoruma has achieved a lot through sacrificial giving. At one stage he gave away a car and managed to buy a new one in a short while.

As the leader of Ramah Zion assembly in Glen View, he has become synonymous with the grace to empower congregates, mould successful business people and grace for children to barren couples.

“I usually speak to couples struggling to conceive and they can have kids thereafter.”

Known for his deep, energetic teachings, he represents a clique of loyal sons, forwarding the church’s vision without repentance. Through his spiritual father, he continues to gain influence in both spiritual and social circles.

“My father has withstood the test of time. He has qualified to stand among fathers and be called also a father. He has exemplified the art of faith in Jesus Christ. A real teacher of the word of God.”

Apostle Sibiya, Archbishop Gurupira, Bishop Tudor Bismark, Bishop T. D Jakes and Prophet Chiza represent the truth, while Evangelist Paul Saungweme is a man of faith in Overseer Chinoruma’s Christian life.

Born in 1976, he has been married to Abgirl Chinoruma for 18 years, and the power couple is blessed with four girls.

In the next five years, his vision is to pastor a Megachurch with over 2000 members and established in business running a consortium.
