Chitungwiza – Possessed with a powerful lyrical voice, seemingly beyond his young age, Kudzi Nyakudya has taken the gospel fraternity to another level.
His lively dances blend well with his praise songs, while deeper lyrics dominate his worship offerings.
Kudzi does not hide his admiration of South African gospel artist, Lundi Tyamara – stating that he is inspired by his music. The admiration has however earned him critics, labelling him an imitator lacking originality.
The award-winning artist has propelled his name to stardom producing an array of chart-busting albums. In 2005, he collected the best male award, sharing the stage with notable vocalists not limited to Charles Charamba and Sebastian Magacha.
To date, his discography includes Jerusalem, Kudzai Ishe, Hallelujah, Ini Naye-Story of My Life, Gadziriro and Mabasa.
