Her Glory Conference Past Events Revisited

Harare – With just a few days to go before Her Glory Women’s Conference, we take you back to some of the previous instalments, in order to arouse your appetite for the 2019 edition.

Previous versions have unpacked surprise packages for congregates. In 2014, there was a beauty pageant, with an array of women taking to the ramp to showcase their beauty, intelligence and understanding of the church.

Participates to the Glorious Woman modelling contest were mainly quizzed on the church’s history, for example, when did the church start or where was the first service held. The results were quite interesting.

The contestants walked gracefully on the catwalk – dressed in immaculate formal wear, African attire and the church’s stunning regalia.

It was a day to remember – and among the winners was Gogo Sibiya who clinched the Personality gong, proving that age is not a limitation. The overall winner was Mrs Chiturike from Bethel Worship Centre, in Chitungwiza.

The first-ever dinner hosted by Her Glory was a night to share and treasure. The couple and singles banquet were reserved to cap a three-day successful women’s conference graced by influential speakers and uplifting acts, including modelling featuring grannies.
The dinner proceeded in a serene setting as attendants mingled in the warm, optimistic night. Running under the theme: Lioness of Judah, the yearly conference is reserved to elevate women across all spheres of life.

Testifying during the course of the conference, some women said they had benefited immensely on how to handle their demanding roles in their families. The colourful Saturday night was punctured by stylish dances, lighter moments, stunning dressing and delicious buffet dishes.
