Influence focuses on hearts and changes people from within. It sways their thoughts, their perceptions, and their values, it changes the soil of their hearts.
As a result, influence also has the power to change the behaviour of those who are under your influence.
Where does this kind of power come from?
We may be tempted to assume that the influence is our position - that is a mistake!
Yes, some careers actually provide more opportunities for influence than, say, plumbing. But there is more to being influential than having Managing Director behind your name.
We have to understand that influence focuses on the hearts - thus the influencer must be fueled by the spirit of love!
