He has travelled extensively in various countries ministering in international conferences, seminars and revival missions. He also pioneered a lot of programs designed to empower people through humanitarian and revelation knowledge.
The History: Born in 1960 in the Hurungwe rural area, part of the Western Province of Zimbabwe, Dr. Asa Gurupira emerged from a peasant family to become one of Africa’s accomplished and finest ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is a gifted Visionary, a well-endowed eloquent Speaker, an acclaimed Mentor with unmistakable marks of fatherhood, a prolific writer, a seasoned and balanced Teacher of the Word of God with a clear call of Apostleship.

These include:
1. Goshen International Bible College, an institute set up to equip Pastors and spiritual leaders for the work of the ministry,
2. Operation Hope (OPH), a humanitarian initiative launched to provide safety nets for the needy in our societies.
3. He also set up various support vehicles to help establish the ministry’s vision through Operation Nehemiah Trust. The trust has strategic companies that compete in the marketplace with the sole mandate of raising resources for the missions work.
The highlight of his ministry has been Leadership Development, Mentorship, Spiritual Warfare and Marriage Enrichment. The hallmark of his ministry is LOVE; and it is his passion and love for the people that make him a Father and Mentor to over sixty Pastors, Bishops and Spiritual leaders, outside his ministry, across the globe. Archbishop Dr. Asa is married to Mavis, a dedicated and ordained Minister of the Gospel, and they are blessed with three children who are the crown of their union.
Archbishop Dr. Asa seats on numerous Boards of Corporates, NGOs and Universities. He is a 2000 Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI – Dallas, Texas, U.S.A) Class Graduate (Pastoral Ministry) and holds a Diploma in Theology from Goshen International Bible College.
He also holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Havana, Cuba. He specialized in Food Technology, working extensively in the Chemical and Food industry in Zimbabwe before he was called into full-time ministry in 1993.
